Bales Metal Surface Solutions Announces Michael Hill as Operations Manager
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., February 07, 2023 — Bales Metal Surface Solutions, a leading provider of metal surface treatments, has announced Michael Hill as the operations manager.
Hill is responsible for managing Bales’ daily operations and enhancing efficiency and efficacy across the shop. In 2023, Hill will lead the installation of two new state-of-the-art nickel plating lines and software to increase the visibility of the shop floor. Both initiatives will help improve customer lead times.
“I’m excited to join Bales for its 45th year in business and beyond,” Hill said. “Bales has a reputation for delivering outstanding finishing results every time, no matter what. I’m focused on enabling our team to continue exceeding customer expectations.”
Hill joins Bales with 20 years of manufacturing operations experience. His expertise includes Lean manufacturing, quality assurance, and team building. Previously, he was a manufacturing manager for a wastewater equipment and technology supplier.
Hill reports to Bales’ President, Stacey Bales.
