HOW TO START YOUR JOB IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS
Starting your job with Bales is easy. Here’s how the process works:
Step 1:
Get a Job Quote
The best way to reduce lead time on your project is to obtain a quote. If you’re facing an emergency or need to expedite a project, we’ll work with you to get your job done right.
Submit the online Request for Quote form. Upon receipt, our technical services manager will contact you with more information, including a cost estimate, in one business day.
Step 2:
Submit Project Documentation
Please enclose the following documents when you send your parts to Bales:
- Marked-up drawings
- Shipping method and address
- Purchase order
This information will provide all the instructions we need to finish your job on time. The more specific instructions you give us, the fewer questions we have to ask, and the quicker your job will hit our shop floor.
Step 3:
Ship Your Parts to Bales
Send your parts to Bales with the documents above included in your shipment. If no further follow up is needed to process your job, you will receive a sales order acknowledgment email within 24 hours. We know the value of your parts and won’t begin processing until we have all the critical information needed.
BALES’ ADDED SERVICES

SS PASSIVATION
Maximize the resistance of your stainless steel parts with highly effective citric acid passivation.
Dimensional Corrections
Correct unmet or out-of-spec size and dimension, and enhance your end product's quality and value.
Masking
Mask specific areas of your part so that you can reassemble and run it right after coating.
STRIPPING
Remove various coatings from your parts, including Bales' high-quality proprietary coatings.
BARREL AND RACK PLATING
Process small parts in a snap with barrel plating or protect critical parts with rack plating.
X-RAY CERTIFICATION
Our in-house x-ray machine makes it possible for us to certify to even the tightest tolerances.
MIL SPEC CERTIFICATION
Bales does provide coatings to several MIL specifications. Contact us to learn more.
